This project involved the supply and installation of 50 certified timber fire door sets, some with attached glazed screens and internal partitions, completed over three phased programmes to align with the school’s operational timetable.
Each door set was manufactured and installed in accordance with current fire safety standards (BS 476 Part 22 / BS EN 1634-1) and Building Regulations Approved Document B. The works included FD30s doorsets with a combination of single and double-leaf configurations, vision panels, and acoustic-rated door sets where required.
All doors were fitted with certified ironmongery, intumescent seals, and self-closing devices, ensuring full compliance with the building’s fire strategy requirements. Glazed screens were constructed to match the door assemblies, providing continuity of performance and finish throughout.
The project was delivered over three phases during term breaks to maintain site safety and minimise disruption to school operations.
Comprehensive installation records, certification, and O&M documentation were provided upon completion.
