We recently completed the supply and installation of 18 FD30s timber fire doorsets at North Kent College in Gravesend, Kent. The project covered two floors and was strategically scheduled over two school holiday periods to ensure no disruption to students, staff, or teaching timetables.
This project included a combination of fire rated riser doors, communal double doors, and classroom doors, all designed and installed to meet FD30s standards. Each timber doorset was supplied pre-hung and pre-finished, enabling a faster, cleaner installation with minimal on-site disruption.
Our decorating team then matched the architraves to the door frames and completed making good to surrounding walls, ensuring a seamless and professional finish throughout the college.
This project highlights our experience in delivering certified fire door solutions for schools, colleges, and universities, where fire safety, durability, and minimal disruption are key priorities. Whether it’s a refurbishment or a new build, we provide complete fire door installation services tailored to the needs of the education sector.
