Just before the Christmas shutdown, we completed 8 fire exit door replacements for a primary school in Whitstable, Kent, creating a safer, more secure and comfortable environment for students and staff.
The school’s existing doors were old and insecure, with blinds fitted to reduce glare from the south-facing windows. As these doors were not fire-rated, we installed new fire doors and applied a special metallic film to the windows, reducing sunlight while enhancing security.
Despite the tight schedule, our team designed, manufactured, and installed these bespoke doors in just 14 days, with a team of four completing the installation in a single day. This efficient solution ensured the school remained safe, secure, and fully operational throughout the upgrade.
