At Howes, we specialise in the installation and maintenance of fire doors in Kent. We recently provided Golding Homes with a series of fire door installations for some of their properties in Wallis Avenue, Maidstone.

We were asked to install flat entrance fire door sets as a part of the Building Regulations and the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, a health and safety requirement that every non-domestic building must-have.

Our install of 16 fire door sets for Golding Homes was completed by two of our accredited team members. The fire door sets that were currently in the building were outdated, damaged and had experienced significant wear since their original installation. It was essential that we replace these fire doors to ensure that the building adhere to current fire safety regulations and pass fire risk assessment, potentially saving lives.
